Yarah had almost reached the outskirts of Lorient when he read the
Pontifex's letter. He decided that instead of writing back, he would
instead meet her and speak to her directly. The discussion was turning
out to be good and maybe Yarah might get a chance to speak out on
Pacifism. As he approached the newly acquired region, he sought out the
Pontifex who was quite busy in helping get the region in control, trying
to convince people to accept the Ibladeshian flag as their own. Yarah
waited for her to be free before he approached her and said,
"Greetings Milady. The people here seem to be coming under /Ibladeshian/
rule more easily than did Beziers. That is a heartening sight. I wish I
could help but it would not be wise considering that I have been cast
out of the realm.
I read your letter and of course I do not mind Zes participating in this
discussion and maybe being party to resolving this issue. Infact I
welcome the opportunity to discuss these issues with Zes and to speak
with and assure both of you together, you as the Pontifex and Zes as the
Arch Priest of the Church of Ibladesh.
But I do have one question, why is it that you always refer to there
being a conflict, why is it that you think there *is* or will *be* a
conflict between the Church and Pacifism?
When I decided to establish the order, my aim was to establish peace. I
never envisioned any sort of conflict nor did I intend to cause any.
Maybe you know something I do not?"
