Suddenly his blanket, his warmth was gone. Einar rose feeling unsafe. His protection was gone. His protection against... against what? He questioned only briefly as awareness crept into him. 'My fathers!' he sneered contempt for the Deity and two spirits that claimed to have raised him, as they planned his hell and future torment. they had tormented him enough on the mortal plane, much like his... and even now he couldn't say it. He couldn't at long last bear ill will towards.

Einar thought his confusion was returning as he was flanked by Akesh Monks smiling encouragingly at him... but he could see that they were not monks at all. They might have been at one time, but that time was long past. 'You will have to fly,' the voice echoed inside of Einar, more emotion than speech. Einar looked confused and opened his mouth to question. The monk simply put a finger to his lips in warning. Of all the lessons Einar never learned, he had learned one whilst at the Temple. Never question the wisdom of a monk.

He heard Hoshi's cry for intervention from Forsetti and Rig the Deceiver. He fumed but only briefly, Forsetti would not make it to mediate... Skadi the always willing accomplice of the Deceiver throw up a mountain range of obsidian to block Justice from his approach. Rig shouted commands at Einar, belittling him with every word, tenor, and influx of his voice quickly looking to gain control over his errant "son".

The monk watched Einar with interest, wondering if he would meekly grow small once more follow another will once more... follow his "fathers" into his hell were he would spend his eternity in pain and degradation... for the briefest moment it looked like he might as he wavered against Rig's onslaught and looked dubiously as his other fathers came to Rig's support.

Einar then raged and grew, belittling his Patron and fathers. "Nei!" He screamed at the trio. "The seam!" Light emanated from him and burst out from his spirit, sweeping away patrons, mountains, and deities of various allegiances. Leaving Einar, the monk, and Hoshi... his konen in the open the emptiness.

"Usann kvinne hvem svikte," He spoke to her, "You can not hid from me. This is the last..." Einar paused, the emotion came back to him 'you can not stay, it is not safe, they will be back'. His eyes smoldered with fire when he looked at her again, "You know where to find me if you are true. If not I will will find you."

With that Einar was gone and the monk, the pleasant smile never leaving his face faded from the world Einar's righteous rage tore asunder.

 ---

"Why does she do it?" A ghostly voice asked in the dungeon.

"She has made things go array again." Another seemed to accuse.

"She lives for the confrontation." the last said without emotion as all but one of the Monks seemed to seep through the walls and were gone.

"Do you want him?" The monk asked a little surprised. "You never did when he was alive, and even now you can not embrace him. Do you want this?" The monk Gestured to the body that was still barely alive and in her arms. "Because you drove him out, you can get him back but you have to be quick... you have to commit... do you want him?" The monks voice seem to resonate inside her instead of actually being heard.
 --

Hoshi laughed a humorless laugh..."Do I want him?" She spat..."I wanted him in life more than I wanted anything else...but so many choices were not my own..." The venom in her voice dripped and were there any with warm blood in the room it would have frozen..."I drove him no where...least of all out...we all make our choices and those choices all have consequences...sometimes those consequences are tolerable and sometimes they are not..."

Hoshi sneered at the voice that tried to influence her to do as it wished..."Do I want him?"

She raged at the voice that had been Einar's..."There is no where safe for me this I know Einar...this I have always known...for you were not the only one they trained to be a destroyer...Your father, my father...all those who wished an Empire be brought to its knees...you do not think they left that in the hands of one man and one man alone do you?"

She whirled again on the voices that competed for her...that wished to play those tricks on her and make her feel she had done something wrong..."I have caused nothing to go awry...that was not already corrupted...do not seek to put blame where there is none to be had."

She touched Einar's face...and stood...and said to the gods..."Einar is your vessel...use him as you will...bring him to the heavens and let him rest in peace...send him to hell and continue his suffering...or find another path for him...but do not seek to make his path my choice...for I will not choose for him."

With that she moved to leave the dungeon.
