First Eric never was a king that that is what Eric means.  I do however 
know the distinction =)  Second try roleplaying Joe.  It is interesting 
and fun.  Royal denotes some title.  As the former ruler with title of 
King EE could only be one of 3 things with that title.  One; if replaced 
by a family member he is not wed to, a prince.  Two; if replaced by a 
none family member the former King.  Three; if replaced by the spouse King.

You should note for example that Eleanor of Aquatine was always Queen 
Eleanor, even after failed rebellion against her husband and being held 
as a prisoner for treason by her husband.  I am sure that if roles had 
been reversed it would have been the same for Henry.  So stop being a 
petty person and play.  This is not about you.  I don't even think about 
you Joe.
