And in that case I can see why they're kicked off Dwilight. Sucks for
them that their realm declared war. But you can't honestly say this fits
in Dwilight atmosphere.

Honestly, how exactly does that not fit?  Obviously the GM (GM's?) agree
with you perspective but judging by the responses to this thread so far
I would say that your (and the GM's opinions) are the minority.  Which
means that unless there is some clarification there are a lot of people
who are not conforming to "the ideals" of what Dwilight is supposed to
be... which is going to be leading to some big problems...
