Yup, too much of it is lame, I concur. And also, lack of respect
should not be allowed regarding anyone, specially the king. Nobles
have rights, yes, they do, but their blood isn't as important as the
king's, their lands are not worth anything without a king (or a duke),
and respect is due. Insults shouldn't be clear, but ratherly in the
form of intrigue, actions behind the backs, or at least delivered with
enlegance and under disguise.
Like Cagilan Empire's PM has been doing regarding Falasan. :) Flowered
words concealing insults and intentions. At least it was like that in
the first letters.
However, if a King is getting questioned by lots of nobles and manages
to find an external enemy to make everyone's minds busy, I find it
actually excellent RP :)
