I feel the need to further clarify number 8.
Every region has the diplomacy of its ruler. A ruler can have as many
vassels as he can muster, and of any rank. A king may have dukes as vassels,
but he may have couts aswell. There is no need for a middle man, but it may
be possable. A ruler may only have one liege, and is exempt from the rulings
of those above his liege. Vassels can war with eachother within a realm.
This would be counter balenced by possable war with their liege. When a
region is TOed, the TOing army sponcer can decide to vassilize the ruler, or
appoint a new one. Appointing a new one should reduce honour.
All regions have their own armies with the general as the marshal. When
peaceful armies of the same realm meet, one may pay homage to another based
on the title of the ruler. When homage is payed, the army is absorbed into
the other army. During this time, all orders are sent from the lead general
to everyone in the army, and everyone in armies paying homage. A general can
disband his army from the other army at any time. Homage is payed to
specific generals, not nessecarily the lead general based on vassalage. When
a general disbands himself from an army, all those in homage to him go with
him. All armies paying homage adopt the diplomatic stance of the leading
armie's ruler.Lieges can institue honour reductions for vassels that fail to
pay homage when their liege is at war. Lieges lose honour when their vassles
are attacked by foreign realms and war is not declaired in a certain time.
This allows for a more dynamic military hierarchy.
