That was my argument too, but after reconsidering...Does that even
make sense? If the character saw the realm as illegitimate, he
woudln't join it, because in his eyes, there's nothing to join. I live
in Minnesota, and if Iowa suddenly said "Heh, we're not actually part
of the US any more, we're something else", I would assume that was
illegitimate. So would I go through and fill out the paperwork to
become a citizen so that I could tell them that they're illegitimate?
I don't think so.
So the question becomes, did the player of that character completely
break reasonable RP guidelines by joining a realm, and indeed,
becoming ruler of it, that he did not even accept as a real realm? If
so, then, even if subconsciously, the action is an OOC one. But I
don't know, thats not a very strong argument...
