[Discuss] Difference between Exile and Strip Titles

What is the difference in _game effect_ of these two options?
No, please do not get into the RP usage of these options. I only want
to know what effect they have on a characters.

On an unrelated note, in the rulers command page, this option is present:

Bestow/remove title - you can not do that while travelling.

How does one "remove title" of a lord?
