The Pope. The head of the church that was the one true faith of most of
Europe at one stage. And the Swiss sold themselves as mercenaries - more
like Darka than a recruitment centre. Lord Bob, a vassal of the Duke of
Northumberland wouldn't have been able to conscript people from Cornwall, on
the other side of Britain, to get some troops, though - the Duke of Cornwall
would have had something to say about that, I'm sure.
