Anyway, dynamic or not, death is not on people's plans. My characters
were very loosely made, so they could fit what came to them, but I
still don't want their deaths, and even loosely, it isn't likely that
either would retire, put themselves in a death-threatening situation
just for the joy of it...

If the long term plans are well made, they are dynamic. Say: my
character is loyal to his realm and will likely spend his whole life
in there, because he wouldn't want anything else. Someone bans him,
the character would be extremely offended, angry, vengeful, would
probably turn against the person who did it, and then find another
life. Which would just add spice to the story, I'd say.

Well, each person is each person, and I think we can say this argument
is kind of over. In the end, the decision is Tom's.
