[Discuss] Some words on trade caravans

Not assuming anything.  The trade caravans, I assume (okay, there's an
assumption) are being put in place to give more control to the Region
Lords.  Decentralization of power.  As a player with a character who's
held the banker position for a month or so, and the same character
having lost his Region Lordship about a week ago or so, the character
doesn't understand the changes that are coming.  Or even that they are
coming - IC.  As a player, I didn't ask the proper question.  Let me
try to rephrase it...

What effects, both short term and long term, will the trade caravans
have on the role of the banker?
