Yes, I know. But there were at least two, if not more, times prior to 
that where someone else was elected in Delvin's place, and then 
either stepped down when Delvin was available again, or Delvin 
was re-elected at the next election. There are just some realms 
where certain people are the accepted ruler, for as long as they 
want it.
