I knew this is what you were hammering at the whole time. Took quite a bit
of rambling for it to finally shine through though. So let me make this
simple:
*Tom is not keeping you from doing anything in the game.*
You're wanting to be able to do what other characters can do- those who have
titles and positions of any sort. Then gain a title or a position. It's
really quite simple, and in realms where it may not be, then you have every
ability to leave and find a new one. This self-entitlement bull**** is
really getting old, and it's permeating from nearly every corner of the
playerbase, of late.
Every player has every opportunity to achieve every position/class in the
game. Not doing so is a reflection on the player, not the game. And
certainly not the game creator. I've never been in any realm with any
character (barring one adventurer) where I didn't have the opportunity
present itself for me to accept a lordship or council position within the
first two-to-three months in the game. Usually far sooner. And it has
nothing to do with family recognition, because I'm working on my second
account now, (after about a 4 month break), with the same results.
