Let's be real here. You were right about them judging how it affects
"Them", but how would they know how it affects the army? Less than a
month is /hardly/ enough time to be able to say "right, we tried it,
we gave it ago, worked out all the details, and it just didn't work."
Do you honestly believe that?
And lets not claim the handful of people complaining here is
equivalent to "all the generals". I think most of the generals in the
game are coping. Maybe they're not pleased, but they're making it
work, and once they kinks are worked out, *then* they're going to
decide whether or not to complain about it. The people complaining
walked into work, realized they weren't the only ones who could order
which links to be clicked anymore, balked, and started whining. You
and I both know that its BS when he says he "Tried" to like it and he
"tried" to get it going and it didn't work. I've been in large realms
that have been doing this for ages, to great, great success. Anyone
seen Fontan lately? They're not really losing the war. And lest we
forget, in the long past, battlegroups were also used to great success
by generals who could manage them correctly, and BG commanders were
the equivalents of the marshals today.
The people complaining are relics who are scared to death to try
something new and maybe, just maybe, give it a decent chance to work
before crying about it.
