[Discuss] Powergaming

As an FEI ruler these are some things I'm dealing with from an OOC
perspective:

1. Staying reasonably in my character, honoring agreements made, oaths
taken, what have you.

2. Preventing a gangbang war which is no fun for the victim.

Notes of concern:

1. When I send a letter to another ruler, and they don't respond whatsoever,
how can roleplay move forward?  That's my biggest pet peeve.  I understand
it a little as sometimes I miss things in the flood of daily ruler mail, but
it's something we should work on as players to prevent stagnation.

2. While I don't want to blame anybody when I have so much power, boy do I
wish my subjects would go about their own agendas a bit more without waiting
for me to direct them.  If you want war go start one ;-)  You don't have
treaties to honor.  Again, not trying to deflect blame, but it would lessen
the load.


I realize that there could also be some code changes to force things...
(imho, we should further define treaties such that if your ally goes to war
you must either join him or dissolve the alliance)

However, I will do my best to get something going, and hopefully everyone
else will now too.
