[Discuss] region pages on the Wiki and why I hate them

There are a LOT of region pages on the wiki.

I hate them. I really do. Here are the two main reasons:


a) it's duplicate information - most of what you find there is readily 
available in-game
b) most of the duplicate information is outdated. For example, there are 
population numbers on most of those pages. Newsflash: Population 
fluctuates a little, sometimes daily. There are knights listed. They 
come and go. And I'm very certain that most of the region pages are 
_not_ regularily updated.



To be entirely honest, it sucks. It reduces the quality of the wiki, the 
time spent doing those pages could be spent better, and it irks me every 
time I see it.

So, why in the name of the Netherworld Daimons do people feel the urge 
to essentially *copy* the region information into the Wiki???
