People that *want* to play an advy will spend a slot on it.
Having the chance of it rising to knight is awesome RP, otherwise your
advy will never be part of the family. There could be a code for it to
be a lower class of noble, though.

I think the free slot should be considered as such - free. It was a
freebie, for tests. Like beta versions of games.

We have a few continents with loads of advies, and some with almost
none... if people would gradually redistribute, I think there would be
no shortage. Also, I have heard many complain that advy life is pretty
hard in some places, due to the excess of them - now imagine if
everyone had one.
