Subject: Re: [Discuss] Marshal System Rules

Really, you all think way too complicated. You think there's a hundred
secret rules alongside the BM game mechanics, but there isn't.

The very simple and straightforward thing is that way too many people
have been trying to continue to send "Orders" even after the game didn't
allow it to them anymore. Really, what's so hard about thinking that
just maybe, you know, there's a reason that "Orders" doesn't show up
among your available message types?

And that is really all there is to it. People sending orders when the
game doesn't give them "Orders" as an option. Nothing less, nothing more.

But he got zapped not for giving orders but for saying that he will send
orders, which isn't the same thing and may be where some of the confusion
comes from.

Also, making your General SiC so that he gets the red paper smells like it's
gaming the system. Realistically, taking the General of your realm and
giving him the job of second-in-command to the Marshall? It doesn't make a
lot of IC sense, so I'm not surprised that people might suspect that that
was the real reason for the bolt.
