There is a difference between John L. Smith and John Smith.  They're 
both different than John Smyth.  I don't know how sophisticated Tom's 
program he uses to catch them is.  But having one thousand extra pair of 
eyes to look doesn't hurt.

There have been obviously fake names before that I have told Tom about 
either via the titans or him, and he has said just because their display 
name is something doesn't mean they didn't give their real name.  I 
don't know what he meant, to be honest, because I thought the same thing 
as you.
