on that subject.. any idea how long claims persist (or for that matter,
why they disappear?)

for example on SEI, ikalak city. the duke was voted in as the PM and so
he has a (strong?) claim on the city and the knights have a weak claim..


about maybe 2 weeks or so after (not too long.. can't say I remember the
specifics) ... those claims are all gone... I was thinking mine might
have gone after running for lordship position in another region.. but

that doesn't account for the ex-duke no longer having a claim

I honestly think Time should not be a factor. It undermines the whole point of claims if claims fade within a few weeks.
