I think the system has worked great...nobles shouldn't be cussing, and
it's given the civilized ones a recourse to say 'you crossed the
line'.  Some of you may not think of 'crap', 'ass', 'screw' and 'suck'
as swear words, but honestly, you're wrong.  Certainly they are very
minor ones, but they are nonetheless not words considered appropriate
in english speaking civilized society today or otherwise.  You
certainly wouldn't use them in a professional business meeting nor at
Queen Mary's court.  Nobles can still discuss sex and other lewd
things, but they should not do so like an uneducated peasant who can't
think of anything except 1 syllable curses.

And it doesn't break roleplay because the punishment is IC, so you can
be a vulgar viking, but just have to deal with the penalties.  And I
believe Tom has a punishment for those who cry wolf too many times as
well.
