That's not really that far. They had a city and townslands within what, 
500 miles of Enweil's capital? Plenty of space in between for a staging 
ground.

On the other hand, for the sake of argument I just looked up the 
distance between Grehk and Aesh (Riverholm and Zin), which is over 1300 
miles. Not really in the same league.

And over far longer distances (see above) than other realms. Are you 
arguing for the sake of arguing, or do you have some legitimate 
objection to me using Darka as a example of people who have marched over 
a thousand miles to fight?
