Speaking as the general of Talerium...

If the Dukes that were going to secede only didn't because they didn't
want to deal with the bugs, then they should secede.  In my head I
thought 'Ok, they will put their rp on hold and continue it when
things are restabilized.'  It was frustrating to see Magnus have so
much trouble because the code was bad, we might have been able to do
some cool things with Caergoth had it been a strong nation.  I'm not
sure what happened with the CE invasion, probably lack of
communication, but I don't think in the end they did any damage, and
most folk sympathized with abington at that time.

So I guess my opinion is your characters should act the way there were
going to the day magnus seceded because we kind of froze time for
abington since it was off limits to the rest of the island.
