I agree with that as well.  So possibly you should deal with it as IC'ly as possible in accordance to the knowledge of your charater and weather or not he likes or dislikes the person being accused.  Which could be a factor in the decision as well.  Espically if your charater is a evil bastard that cares fro no one except for him self.
