"This is a tool to enforce proper roleplaying and keep the atmosphere and
quality level of the game up. The focus is on the manner of speech, not its
contents."
This line means that we as players are subbing as gamemasters to
ensure the quality of the game and that proper noble roleplay is
conducted.
The fact that it is a game tool means we do not consider our own characters.
Proper roleplaying means that there is a gamewide noble standard. It
what it supposed to keep 'You suck' out of the game. If a RedSpanian
said goats were not intelligent, marking it vulgar is ridiculous. We
are judging from the perspective of the entire island, including the
NPC nobles you do not see, and 95% of them would say that the
statement is inoffensive. The RedSpanian nobles can police their
culture without use of this tool, (IC fines and bans are more
appropriate) and since honor is a island wide stat, and the island in
general is ok with it, then his honor shouldn't drop.
