[Discuss] Closing the Portals

Now as one of the Adventurers running around with enough stones to try 
closing a portal I'm wondering if anyone has any idea on how they will show 
up in the region?    Is there coding in place in the actions menu or some 
such that would indicate that the portal exists there?

Or are we looking at playing a guessing game and trying out a region where 
it may or may not be?   Tested this once already in Ynncalo and Tom's RP was 
helpful, but I'm just wondering if there's an ingame way for an adventurer 
to find out where they are, rather than using the efforts of 30-40 people in 
a hit or miss method.

If you find a portal, please let us know as I'd like to get my Advy there quickly and get him to another island...since we can't get the ability for them to emigrate.
