Restored from what?

The data is gone.  It can't be interpolated from other datapoints  
like some things in the past that have been restored--Tom would have  
to restore the entire DB from backup, and that would bring  
*EVERYTHING* back to the point just before he lost the counters.

I really don't think that's worth it...
