Agreed. Though I don't quite know how the magic idea is being worked
out. Can someone point me to the thread, wiki page, bugtracker issue,
or something? I seem to have missed it.
If magic is to be created as a whole new class, I can't possibly think
of a way it would be good, inside BM's scenery. Battlemaster has a
great earthly spirit, and I would be sad to see it diminished to
fulfill the fantasies of magic-lovers. Nearly every RPGame out there
has magic. Here we play Middle Ages, and low-fantasy. If we are to
have fantastic things, the most I would agree to would be something
like "the wonders of the east", stuff that looked magical because the
eastern civilizations had another culture and many progressive
research...
Just tossing an early opinion, for I don't actually know what has been
talked about.
