No, that's a slightly different factor there. They don't explicitly
"want" war. They just get fancy ideas about liberty and happiness when
there's no war around.
==========
That's what I don't get... there is war, Tom. There's a massive battle
dang near every week between the Assassins/Wetham and in the last few
weeks now Outer Tilog and Giblot have been in the mix as well. Heck
even Alebad marched up to beat up on Wetham. How can there not be
enough war? I spent months crafting alliances that would allow the
Assassins a fighting chance in a very lopsided war and now five months
of political maneuvering has been supplanted by a code change that is
forcing me to declare war when there is no hope of winning the one I'm
currently in.
Left alone the Assassins will be destroyed in short order. So I do what
I can to ensure the survival of the realm and make alliances and secure
help militarily and politically. Now, the game is telling me that the
very thing that has kept the realm alive is wrong and I have to break
the alliances and declare war on someone else. Seriously, what the heck
am I suppose to do, Tom? I've got two regions to work with and one of
those I can't even get to stay at main because there's supposedly not
enough war going on.
How exactly am I supposed to justify declaring war against a second
realm when Wetham is already 6x the size of the Assassins? Giblot is
even bigger/stronger then Wetham. Lukon is more powerful then both of
them. I'm in an alliance with Alebad/Alowca and Outer Tilog and if I
leave the alliance I'll be a realm of two regions standing against a
combined total, at minimum, of 15. Oh and a standing army, that is
being paid for with family gold, of 3,000 against 20,000+.
So, all of my work and effort and time in the past several months has
been screwed over by a coding change because the East Island sat around
on their thumbs? Lovely. I'm supposed to believe that the commoners
are to stupid to grasp even the slightest part of this and they are
blindly demanding more war? Apparently the social experiment here is
that means the entire realm of the Assassins are supposed to become
martyrs. I'd like to think that since this is a dictatorship that I
could just order all of the stupid people to be killed off but
apparently a dictator doesn't really have that power either.
