Wouldn't it be easier then just to have a BM year be relative to 
whatever rate they age at?

Yes, it's possible to look 5, 10, 15 years older than you are (in some 
ways), but the middle ages weren't *that* bad (not for the nobles, 
anyway, who had manors and such to lounge around in not doing much) and 
I can't see how a character less than 30 can look like h's turning 70 
soon. Which is the case for the oldest characters IG.

Another possibility that occurred to me is simply to scrap the precise 
age and just show it as "Early/mid/late 30's" etc.
