[Discuss] abusing the strip titles option?

Of course there is a difference between IC and OOC. But I know of no
other option which is designed to to make you argue against something
you -know- isn't true, which in itself makes any argument futile, in my
opinion. Because it causes stuff like this:

~strips lord of nobility~
"That, my lord, is a gross abuse of power! You tyrant!"
"That's a power invested in me with rulership, it's not abuse. Do you
cry foul play when the judge uses his power of execution? No. Stop
complaining."

It's just pointless to argue, why? Because the ruler -knows- he is
justified through game messages. Your character -knows- he is justified
through game messages, but in fact you the player -know- that the ruler
is right and you are wrong. But you're still supposed to argue it for
the sake of arguing it? That to me is not roleplaying, it's a
calculated, planned, and coded means of causing problems which need
not occur all for the sake of making something happen. It irks me. Of
course, that's just the way I see it, it's probably not intended that
way at all.
