[Discuss] abusing the strip titles option?

I have a question...
My character on EC namely a lord of Mulhouse were stripped down from his 
titles by Doombringer King of Caligus.

All my char did was to order HIS army to Eldoret(Ubent region) and 
ordered to use defensive settings.. after that our ruler stripped the 
titles. he noted OOC that this is only way to remove him from positions...

while the stripping titles page message said that this is not about 
being destructive to realm.. this is for stripping ones nobility..

I think that proper punishment should have been a ban...

is this abusing the game mechanics by avvoiding me to change loyalties?

repair me if I am wrong but I think he abused the game...
