[Discuss] Adventurer questions

Having played several adventurers now and killing 'em off for various reasons, I have a couple questions that I still don't have answers to.

1. Why are adventurers part of your noble family's history and stats for them accumulate along with your other family's character's stats?  For that matter, why do adventurers have stats like H/P anyway when we nobles all know that they are worthless sacks of crap that lie and steal to get ahead (wait, that sounds like some nobles, too.)?

2. Why would a noble give a recommendation to an adventurer from another realm...or perhaps more importantly why would a realm recognize the adventurer received a recommendation from a realm other than their own?
