[Discuss] Abusing game logic - Starving tens of thousands to
death?!?!

Recently I have notice that at least one realm is trying to starve a city of
about 50,000 population to death to win a battle the easy way. This is the
second time this realm is doing this. The ruler of the realm had even
suggested to let a enemy regions go rogue so that when it is recaptured it
will be easier to control.
Now, I view all this as abuse to the limitations of the game logic.
I think thus far, about 10 over thousand citizens died in the said region.
If this were to happen realistically, I think the citizens of the region
would either overthrow their current government and surrender or they would
come together and fight the invaders with a vengeance.
10,000 starved to death, I assume mostly children, infants and elderly. How
can they just sit idle and let themselves or their friends, family and love
ones starved to death? It would be more logical that the 15,000 of the
remaining citizen would somehow join the army and fight for their survival.
Worst part of this is, if this crazy plan worked, how can the citizens
accept the governance of a realm that have starved their kins to death?
