Nobles were crude?  We aren't William Wallace here.  We are all rich and
elitist, and to speak like a peasant is shameful and disgraces you and your
family, which is where your power comes from.  It's a class system, and you
can't act like the lower class because the feudal hierarchy is preserved by
the belief that noble blood is inherently better.  The last thing you want
is rumors you are no better than a peasant because you speak like one.
