That's the nationalism I think we're trying to be rid of.
As far as "honorably" breaking an oath of any sort, I don't think it can be
done without some extreme legalese in explaining how going back on an oath-
the highest form of promise that can be made- is anything but dishonorable.
Even if it's for honorable intent. Others begin to question the knight and
wonder if he'll turn his back on them too. That's where the loss comes into
play.
