I think it would be interesting to start Dwilight using the new allegiance system, 
with full effect of the Estates, too. These will limit the ability of realms to 
expand, based on the actual control they can exert through the estates of the 
nobles. Even if a realm was rich and militarily powerful enough to TO a lot of 
regions in a land rush, if they don't have the nobles to control the regions they 
would quickly lose them.
