You are erroneously equating a wide audience with a proper forum.

This is not a democracy or a news outlet. You have absolutely no right to 
"be heard." If players don't care about the game enough to read the d-list 
(and many of them don't with good reason - they want to have fun, not worry 
about what goes on behind the scenes) then they should not be subjected to 
polemic for any reason.
