I think getting rid of the realm wide message will kill a lot of fun
for a lot of people. If this is suppose to be a social experiment of
sorts cutting out the major artery of the interaction between people
will surely kill it. There are quite a few members of other duchies I
regularly enjoy talking with. Even if It might not be realistic to
medieval standards.
Adding multiple layers of hierarchy will generally become just
annoying beyond comparison. I realize that some people want to get rid
of it but the mass majority of the players don't. This is a game to be
played with friends.. what is the point of stopping communication
between people or making it more difficult?
I personally enjoy reading through other people's rp's when they go
into chains of two people replying to each other it is great!! If I
dont really feel like reading I simply scroll down... wow two seconds
of effort on my part just let quite a few others who wanted to read it
have their fun. Limiting messages would prevent these chains. I
personally enjoy it when I right an rp and get an immediate reply and
start writing another. I would be horribly annoyed if I couldn't reply
because of some limitation....
The only things I would fix is just the message to your vassels and
possibly adding in a way for the duke to have a council of his own.
That last one is just because I am lazy and hate going through my
duchy list clicking on few names =)
