<br><br>From a gameplay perspective, "pirates" would not be nobles, and thus would be commoners. In short, uber-adventurers, or uber-rogue characters. This would upset the game balance and I'm pretty sure Tom isn't for that sort of thing - making the game about playing rogues/pirates.
