No...see there's no difference between assault and attempted assault in
terms of law.

A claim is a like legal proof.

I see it more like if I am found guilty, appeal the case, and then am
exonerated.

If they accept your claim B, then they're saying your claim A must also have
been valid, because it's practically the same thing.

However, if that's too much a stretch and you feel that the claim A was
clearly a criminal act because it wasn't accepted despite the later
remission, then you still have to accept that claim B was valid and he
should keep his post, but the lord deserves some punishment for filing bad
papers.

If Tom thinks differently, he should just give you one chance per region to
buy a claim.  If you fail the people never trust you again.
