I don't really think that the system supports that RP...
You tried, twice, to forge documents showing you were the lord. The
first documents you presented were poorly executed, and seen as
fake. The second time you brought them documents, however much they
scrutinized them, they couldn't find anything wrong (though they
might have had glare in their eyes from the gold coins they had just
acquired).
The RP you describe would work as a humourous way of expanding on a
successful "buy title" attempt, but an unsuccessful one means that
the *officials* in the region recognized your forgery--not just that
a bunch of peasants in a tavern didn't believe you.
