You can take gold with you but you'll find *alot* of it goes missing while
emmigrating to another continent. You lose everything when you change
continents, quite a substantial amount of honour, prestige, your estate,
most of your gold, all of your bonds and your army.

You're not going to take an army on board a ship designed for a few people,
so I don't know how you'd fit an estate on it. ;-)
