 I believe I searched through a good number of emails dating back at least
the last year and a half and found no such proposals.  The best I found
regarding character deaths from Tom is that it's a touchy subject for
players because for the longest time, all characters were immortal.  But at
that same time, he also said he was slowly integrating the "old man" code to
have more of an effect on people, and at an earlier age.  Also that he
personally wasn't against character deaths.

Can you find something different?
