[Discuss] Wikipedia, IC and OOC

But the character (and thus the player) who has written the text will know
that is wasn't for IC/IG use and will most likely tell you so with an OOC
message. Then you will simply have to admit that you have forgotten it, and
behave as your char has never known it... that's just it. What's the use of
wiki otherwise?

If I make a family page, can all characters then contact it? No, cause my
character is written in a style that does not permit one to use it IG (I
call one of my chars evil). But when you make, for example, a realm page
with the history of it, isn't it better that characters can use that
knowledge? Or for example the laws of a realm (thinking about Fwuvoghor as
example now) are placed on the wiki, because that is just much easier to do.
The same counts for some religions... how else can a character discover a
religion? By RPing it... agreed, but that gets boring if you have to do it
for every character.
