[Discuss] Adventurer Options

Hey guys, just a couple ideas for further adventurer options just to throw
out there. Forgive me if any of these have already been mentioned or
dismissed - my viewing of the discussion list is sporadic at best

1. Officer Commission - it would be interesting if somehow a more honourable
or skilled adventurer could be commissioned to be like an officer in one of
the armies. Now nobles can sponsor their own armies, so why not be able to
appoint a distinguished man from the corps. He/she could have minor
administrative options and maybe participate in battle/control a small unit,
maybe 5 men? Maybe you could integrate it with the new Captains that have
been added to units? I am sure there is some potential with something along
these lines

2. Forward Scouts - adventurers can scout as it is, but it would be cool if
there was some kind of commission they could get, like an annual pay from a
patron noble/army.

3. Banding together/popular revolutions - in the middle ages not all
rebellions were upstart nobles; many were popular revolutions led by an
individual or group of commoners. The idea behind adventurers are that they
are bastards of noble families, so likely outcasts disgruntled with their
lot in life. It would add a new dimension of the game if by some way,
perhaps preaching unrest to gather followers (who eventually become like the
"angry peasants" units that already crop up when nobles loot). In addition
to this, an adventurer gaining a following could be joined by other
adventurers etc etc. I would doubt these things would be very successfull,
but they would be enough to create more internal struggles in any given
realm. Other realms vcould hire adventurers to stir up an enemy realm to
distract the government etc etc

These are just a few ideas I was musing over. They probably arent feasible
but I thought I would just state them anyway.
