So what you're saying is we need some young bloods to challenge the
elders and bring about
change and new ideas. hmmmm That sounds familiar....   Tip of the tongue....
ah right Avamar. We all saw how well that worked.
;) All the old bloods telling their realms how evil and terrible the
people were when
they dared to challenge their authority. Pushed all the right buttons,
said all the right things
and look what it got us?

The elders don't want their control to slip and the young bloods don't have
the experience to play the 'game' and overthow said elders. Avamar worked
 because the youngs with all their fire and vigor teamed up with an elder
who knew how things worked. Course one could argue they just changed one
elder for another.

Change is difficult because the elders (Which I'm a part of I'll admit) have
the contacts, the resources and the experience, while the young bloods have
lofty ideals, youthful exuberance, and no idea how to work together.
