You don't seem to understand, psymann. If Tom says not to ask for
something on the D-list anymore, *YOU STOP ASKING*.
If you want to argue this, argue it with Tom. It's not our choice,
it's not our decision, it's not our preference. It is his. Argue it
out with him in private.
James, Rob, please let this particular matter drop so he understands
that it's nothing to do with us.

Well, I can't speak for James, but I would let both through. The
middle post wasn't particularly cogent, but it wasn't insulting,
flamebait, or trollish, merely somewhat silly. A silly post with
sensible replies, that commits no other sins, goes through in my book.
