[Discuss] Confrontation Coding

Some time ago, people were discussing probloms with the way the game
determines battles and Tom told people to write up their own system if they
thought they could make any improvements.  I've been working on such a
system, but would like some feedback before drafting it into pseudo-code.  I
have placed a basic outline of the system on the wiki at
