Absolutely.

Frankly, I think we really need more Mentors, and the fact that you  
have to change class to be one prevents many good players from  
teaching the new players as well as they otherwise could.  I have one  
character who would *definitely* become a Mentor again if he didn't  
have to give up being a Priest.

However, I think you need to make the threshold for becoming a Mentor  
quite a bit higher: I've seen characters classed as Mentors who were  
less than 3 months in the game.  They might know the *basics* by  
then, but certainly not enough to be able to effectively teach new  
players.  I would say a limit of at *least* 6 months before becoming  
a Mentor should be imposed.
